Pratyaksha Sinha

Pratyaksha has published three books of stories in Hindi. A collection of stories ‘Rain song” from Harper Collins in October 2014, a story in a Norwegian-English anthology by Bokvennen in 2014 and a novella “Meet me Tomorrow” by Juggernaut in 2016 has also been published. Her story ‘The hunt” has been part of the anthology “Her piece of sky” published by Zuban and another story has been part of “1984 in memory and imagination” published by Amaryllis n 2016.

Another collection of erotique stories is due to be published soon by Speaking Tiger.

Her poems, included in the anthology ‘The unsettled winter” had been long listed for RLP award 2013

Her paintings have appeared in the TFQM

She has won the SonbhadrakathaSamman award 2011 , Indo Norwegian prize for her story in 2013 , Krishna BaldevVaid fellowship for 2013 and has been a fellow of the Sangam House Residency in May 2015.

She has attended the Bjornson international literature festival, Norway in 2014.

She lives in Gurgaon and is working as Deputy General Manager Finance in Powergrid.
