Jeyanthi Manokaran

Jeyanthi Manokaran began her career in the creative field as a visualiser/illustrator in advertising.
But children being her first love, she moved into kid’s edutainment as a writer and illustrator both inprint and multimedia. She has created CD ROMs and interactive educational games for kidsworking in larger teams. Reaching kids with a new slant to both fiction and non-fiction is what sheloves immensely. Be it her multicultural wordless picture books for little ones, or historical fictionfor older kids, her passion for giving them a good reading experience rings true.
As a writer she has been published by Highlights Magazine USA, National Book Trust andScholastic and was awarded a Highlights Foundation scholarship for writing. As an illustrator usingfolk art for kids, UNESCO awarded her an Asia-Pacific NOMA CONCOURS prize.
